Nickelback previews upcoming LP with the video for ‘Make Me Love You’

Nickelback has released their new single “Make Me Love You,” the fourth preview from their forthcoming 11th studio album, “Everything Under the Sun,” due out October 30th.

‘Make Me Love You’ arrives alongside the official video for the track, directed by Nigel Dick; check it out: HERE.

The latest song follows previously-released tracks “Bones for the Crows,” “Rattle the Cage,” and “Leave Me Behind,” which dropped alongside the official visualizer for the song. Frontman Chad Kroeger described ‘Leave Me Behind’ as a song about standing beside someone through difficult experiences, helping them recover from what has damaged them while acknowledging the vulnerability of the person providing that support. “There’s a lot of weight in this song, but there’s also a lot of hope,” Kroeger said.

The new music also gives listeners another indication of the range Nickelback intends to explore on “Everything Under the Sun.” The project is described as encompassing the band’s heavier material alongside more reflective songs, with Kroeger saying the record contains “every side of the band.” The 12-track album also includes the singles “I Already Know,” “If I Don’t Go,” “Chasin’ Famous,” “Simple Song,” “Technicolor Steamboat,” “Lift Somebody Up,” “Bottled Dreams” and “Last Night Was Fun.”

“Everything Under the Sun” is scheduled for release Oct. 30 through Virgin Music Group and marks Nickelback’s first album under its new partnership with the company. The record follows 2022’s “Get Rollin’,” while the band’s recent resurgence has included its Netflix documentary “Hate to Love: Nickelback” and continued success on the road.
