Linkin Park has announced the release of Unshatter, a new documentary chronicling the band’s return following the death of lead singer Chester Bennington and its next chapter with vocalist Emily Armstrong.
Directed by band member Joe Hahn, the film follows the group’s journey as it reunited, recorded its 2024 album From Zero and resumed touring, combining behind-the-scenes footage, archival material and live performances. Mike Shinoda says in the film’s trailer, “Everything was riding on it. We get this wrong, it’s all for nothing.”
Alongside the documentary, the band confirmed the release of The Unshatter Film Soundtrack (Live in São Paulo), due Sept. 25. The companion album features career-spanning performances recorded during Linkin Park’s From Zero album release concert in São Paulo in November 2024, giving fans a live collection that spans both the band’s classic catalog and its current era.
The project marks another milestone in Linkin Park’s comeback after the band introduced Armstrong and drummer Colin Brittain for From Zero, its first studio album since Bennington’s 2017 death. Earlier teasers hinted at the documentary through the band’s European tour and promotional campaign before the official announcement, fueling months of speculation among fans about a concert film and accompanying live release.
