Falling in Reverse has brought together Slipknot frontman Corey Taylor and System of a Down singer Serj Tankian for “Joseph,” a new single accompanied by a cinematic music video. The track marks the first time Taylor and Tankian have appeared together on a recording, and both musicians also made appearances in the Jensen Noen-directed video alongside Falling in Reverse frontman Ronnie Radke.
“Joseph” moves through piano-led passages, electronic elements, melodic sections and heavier guitar-driven stretches, with the three vocalists taking turns across the song. Taylor appears in his Slipknot mask during a confrontation with Radke, while Tankian contributes during a more restrained, melodic portion. The accompanying visual leans into Falling in Reverse’s theatrical style, with Radke at the center of an action-heavy sequence featuring battles and surreal imagery.
The song takes its title from Radke’s middle name and arrives as Falling in Reverse’s first new release in more than a year. It follows “God Is a Weapon,” the band’s 2025 collaboration with Marilyn Manson, as well as “All My Life,” its 2024 collaboration with Jelly Roll. “Joseph” is the third single released since the band’s 2024 album “Popular Monster,” although Falling in Reverse has not announced a new album or indicated whether the recent standalone tracks will appear on a future project.
The collaboration also extends Falling in Reverse’s recent run of high-profile guest appearances. “God Is a Weapon” has surpassed 350 million streams, according to the band’s release information, while “Popular Monster” has accumulated billions of streams. Taylor previously appeared on Falling in Reverse’s 2019 song “Drugs,” but “Joseph” represents the first recording to feature both Taylor and Tankian together.
