The Rolling Stones preview upcoming album with video for the song ‘Jealous Lover’

The Rolling Stones have released their new single, “Jealous Lover,” marking the third preview from the legendary rock band’s 25th official studio album, Foreign Tongues, which is slated for a global release on July 10th. The new track dropped alongside a music video (available to watch exclusively on Amazon Music) directed by Chris Barrett and Luke Taylor, starring actors Anya Taylor-Joy and Charles Melton.

Recorded during concentrated sessions at Metropolis Studios in London, Foreign Tongues follows the group’s 2023 studio album, Hackney Diamonds. The upcoming 14-track LP will also include notable guest collaborations from Sir Paul McCartney, Robert Smith of The Cure, and Chad Smith of the Red Hot Chili Peppers.

‘Jealous Lover’ features a guest performance by veteran multi-instrumentalist Steve Winwood, who contributes Rhodes piano and organ layers to the arrangement. The song also features guitarists Keith Richards and Ronnie Wood, touring bassist Darryl Jones and drummer Steve Jordan, alongside instrumentation from keyboardist Matt Clifford and producer Andrew Watt.

Jealous Lover is available across digital streaming platforms, and will also be issued physically as a CD and vinyl single featuring the B-side track “Divine Intervention” — which is one of two tracks from the new album to feature The Cure frontman, Robert Smith.
