Morrissey sets 2026 North American tour dates

After unveiling his upcoming European run of shows, Morrissey has now detailed an extensive North American tour slated for late summer and fall 2026. The shows support his latest releases, Make-Up Is a Lie and the Deluxe Notre-Dame EP, both arriving June 19 via Warner Records.

The tour begins with a four-night residency at the Encore Theater in Las Vegas from August 14–19, followed by a broader U.S. leg launching September 22 in Buffalo, New York. From there, Morrissey will visit cities including New York, Washington, D.C., Nashville, Houston, and more, before closing out on November 14 at the Darker Waves Festival in California. He’s also set to appear at the CBGB Festival in Brooklyn on September 26.

The tour follows the release of Make-Up Is a Lie, Morrissey’s 14th solo album and his first with Warner in three decades. The 12-track project—featuring songs like “Make-up is a Lie” and “The Monsters of Pig Alley”—debuted at No. 3 on the UK Albums Chart, marking another strong showing in a career that spans over 40 years, including his time with The Smiths.

Recorded in southern France with producer Joe Chiccarelli, the album leans into Morrissey’s signature style — sharp, poetic lyrics paired with understated instrumentation. Rather than reinventing his sound, the record refines the introspective and wry tone that has long defined his work, supported by a lineup of frequent collaborators.
