AC/DC is bringing more than stadium concerts to North America this year, announcing that special PWR/UP pop-up events will accompany every stop on the band’s 2026 tour. The pop-up concept debuted overseas and proved popular with fans seeking memorabilia and photo opportunities beyond the concert venues themselves. The temporary fan destinations are scheduled to open in each city on the itinerary and will be free to the public, regardless of whether visitors hold concert tickets.
The pop-ups will operate for two days in each market and feature exclusive merchandise, limited-edition collectibles and displays of historic items from AC/DC’s touring history, including vintage stage cannons. Fans will also have access to exclusive vinyl reissues of “High Voltage” and “T.N.T.,” which previously were available only in Australia and later in Europe.
The expanded fan experience arrives as AC/DC continues its global PWR/UP trek in support of its 2020 album “Power Up,” which topped charts in 21 countries. The North American leg begins July 11 in Charlotte, North Carolina, and runs through Sept. 29 in Philadelphia. The stadium run follows successful performances across Europe, Australia and Latin America, extending one of the band’s largest world tours in years. The current touring lineup features Angus Young, Brian Johnson, Stevie Young, Chris Chaney and Matt Laug, with The Pretty Reckless serving as support on the North American dates.
AC/DC said additional city-by-city information and locations for the pop-up shops will be announced through the group’s official channels. The band closed its announcement with its familiar salute to fans: “For those about to rock, we salute you!”
