Bruce Springsteen releases third installment of ‘Land of Hope and Dreams’ tour Philadelphia concert videos

Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band released the third installment of their Land of Hope and Dreams American Tour: Philadelphia Freedom Cut video series, offering fans eight additional performances from the band’s May 30 concert at Xfinity Mobile Arena in Philadelphia.

The project documents the tour’s Philadelphia finale, which was filmed in full and is being released in four installments; presenting the concert’s performances in sequence, highlighting Springsteen’s extensive catalog alongside the tour’s broader themes of American democracy and civic responsibility.

The first segment arrived Sept. 9, followed by the second installment on Sept. 23. The latest collection captures the closing stretch of the show’s main set, with featured songs include “My City of Ruins,” “Because the Night,” “Wrecking Ball,” “The Rising,” “The Ghost of Tom Joad,” “House of a Thousand Guitars,” “Badlands” and “Land of Hope and Dreams.”

The videos feature Springsteen with longtime E Street Band members Roy Bittan, Nils Lofgren, Garry Tallent, Stevie Van Zandt and Max Weinberg, alongside Soozie Tyrell, Jake Clemons and Charlie Giordano. Guitarist Tom Morello also joined the band throughout the 20-show tour. Directors Chris Hilson and Thom Zimny oversaw the concert film, with Zimny and Sam Shapiro handling the editing. The project honors the memory of writer and activist Dave Marsh.

The third installment is available through Springsteen’s official online channels; with the fourth and final segment expected soon, to complete the entire release of the Philadelphia concert.
