Scorpions postpone Las Vegas Residency to 2027

The Scorpions have postponed their planned 2026 Las Vegas residency at PH Live at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino, moving the eight-show engagement to September 2027. Live Nation announced the change, citing “unforeseen circumstances.” The German hard rock band had been scheduled to begin the residency Sept. 17 and perform through Oct. 3.

“SCORPIONS regret to announce that, due to unforeseen circumstances, their upcoming September shows in Las Vegas will need to be postponed,” Live Nation said. The promoter added that “The band is extremely disappointed but looks forward to returning to Las Vegas in September 2027.” No additional details explaining the circumstances behind the postponement were provided.

The rescheduled shows are set for Sept. 9, 11, 14, 16, 18, 21, 23 and 25, 2027, at the same venue. The residency, promoted by Live Nation and Caesars Entertainment, was originally announced as part of the band’s ongoing “Coming Home – 60 Years of Scorpions” celebration and was slated to feature Buckcherry as the special guest.

The Las Vegas postponement comes as the band has also moved its remaining 2026 performances in Mexico. Three Mexico dates originally scheduled for September have been shifted to August and September 2027, meaning the group has now postponed all of its remaining 2026 concerts. Earlier this year, the Scorpions also canceled a four-date run in India because of unforeseen medical circumstances.

The Scorpions have indicated that their touring plans will continue in 2027, with additional European performances being planned as part of the “Coming Home – 60 Years of Scorpions” campaign. The band previously announced that its 2026 Las Vegas run would mark another return to PH Live following three sold-out residencies at the venue in 2022, 2024 and 2025.
