New wave icons DEVO and The B-52s have announced their reunion for a fall 2026 leg of their co-headlining concert series. The newly revealed eight-date itinerary expands upon the bands’ collaborative performance schedule, continuing a joint venture that initially generated global momentum following a collective appearance on Saturday Night Live. Both musical acts had previously engaged in individual farewell tours during the early 2020s before electing to extend their live performances together.
The upcoming itinerary is scheduled to begin Sept. 17 in Tinley Park, Illinois, a suburb of Chicago. The concert series will proceed through several regions, including scheduled stops in Michigan, Washington, and Seattle, before crossing the border into Canada. A performance at the Rogers Arena in Vancouver, British Columbia, on Sept. 27 will serve as the sole Canadian stop on the trek. The joint performances are slated to conclude on Oct. 31 with a Halloween night engagement in Palm Desert, California.
The performance repertoires for both groups are expected to feature their respective definitive catalogs and commercially successful tracks. Concert promotional materials indicate DEVO will perform notable selections such as “Whip It,” “Beautiful World,” and “Girl U Want,” while The B-52s are slated to feature staples including “Love Shack,” “Roam,” and “Rock Lobster.”
