Foreigner will celebrate its 50th anniversary with four concerts across the New York metropolitan area in spring 2027, returning to the region where the band’s story began. The New York run extends Foreigner’s yearlong 50th anniversary celebration and gives the band an opportunity to commemorate its origins in the city and surrounding area.
The newly announced shows are set for April 27 at the Beacon Theatre in New York City, April 28 at The Wellmont Theater in Montclair, New Jersey, April 30 at The Capitol Theatre in Port Chester, New York, and May 2 at Flagstar at Westbury Music Fair in Westbury, New York.
“New York is where FOREIGNER began, so there could be no better place to celebrate 50 years of our music,” said founding member Mick Jones. “The songs have connected FOREIGNER with audiences for five decades, and these four shows will be a celebration of the fans who have been with us since the beginning.” The performances are expected to draw from the group’s best-known songs, including “I Want To Know What Love Is,” “Cold As Ice,” “Hot Blooded,” “Juke Box Hero,” “Urgent,” “Waiting For A Girl Like You,” “Double Vision” and “Feels Like The First Time.”
Presale opportunities begin Sept. 1, with individual venues and promoters offering separate presale windows. Live Nation and venue presales follow on Sept. 2, depending on the show.
