Motörhead is expanding its legacy into the digital realm through a new partnership with KnuckleBonz360, unveiling an immersive fan destination that brings the band’s iconic imagery and music to life in a shared virtual environment. The collaboration makes Motörhead one of more than 20 artists and brands set to be featured on the KnuckleBonz360 BackStage Experience, a multiplayer 3D platform scheduled to launch in summer 2026. The announcement continues KnuckleBonz’s recent series of high-profile partnerships across the rock and metal world, including projects with Testament, the Misfits, Metal Blade Records, the estate of Cliff Burton and the estate of Death founder Chuck Schuldiner.
Designed as more than a virtual museum, the Motörhead experience will allow fans to explore interactive environments inspired by the band’s unmistakable visual identity while connecting with fellow fans around the world. The platform also incorporates mini-games, exclusive digital content, collectible merchandise and physical products available for worldwide shipping. KnuckleBonz said its goal is to transform classic album artwork and legendary band imagery into fully explorable worlds, giving fans a new way to engage with artists beyond traditional merchandise and streaming.
KnuckleBonz CEO and Creative Director Tony Simerman has described KnuckleBonz360 as an evolution of the company’s longtime focus on premium music collectibles, combining licensed memorabilia with interactive digital experiences. Recent announcements involving Testament, the Misfits, Cliff Burton and Death have outlined a consistent vision in which each band’s world is created by artists, engineers and self-described music superfans, with every experience tailored to reflect that artist’s history and visual legacy.
For Motörhead, the collaboration extends a celebration of the band’s enduring influence following its recent 50th anniversary initiatives and ongoing archival releases. Fans who join the KnuckleBonz360 platform will be able to experience a dedicated Motörhead world alongside other officially licensed artist destinations when the service launches later this summer, underscoring the growing role of immersive technology in connecting legendary acts with audiences across generations.
