Ghost has announced “2 Big To Rig,” a new feature-length concert film chronicling its acclaimed Skeletour World Tour, with a limited theatrical release beginning Aug. 26 in cinemas worldwide, including IMAX locations where available. Advance screenings are scheduled for Aug. 24 in select cities, including Berlin, London, Los Angeles, Mexico City and Sydney, before the broader theatrical rollout.
The title references the scale of the Skeletour Tour, which concluded in February 2026 after more than 70 performances across North America, Europe and Mexico. Ghost describes “2 Big To Rig” as a celebration of the band’s live ritual, featuring performances spanning all six studio albums, including songs from 2025’s Skeletá alongside fan favorites “Mary On A Cross,” “Kiss The Go-Goat” and “The Future Is A Foreign Land.”
2 Big To Rig, directed by Amir Chamdin and produced by Tobias Forge alongside Kristen Mulderig, Rick Sales, Matilda E. Almeida and Jessica Roulston, marks the band’s second collaboration with Trafalgar Releasing following 2024’s successful Rite Here Rite Now. The film was captured on 16mm during Ghost’s two sold-out performances at Mexico City’s Palacio de los Deportes in September 2025. It features the only professionally filmed footage from the band’s phone-free Skeletour Tour, combining concert performances with backstage segments highlighting the crew responsible for bringing Ghost’s theatrical stage production to life. According to the band, the film was created to give fans in regions the tour could not reach an opportunity to experience the production, while also preserving the final Mexico City shows after one of the originally planned three dates was canceled because of illness.
