Five Finger Death Punch marking 20th anniversary with new album ‘Legacy’

Five Finger Death Punch have announced their 10th studio album, Legacy, which celebrates two decades as one of hard rock’s most commercially successful bands. The record will arrive digitally on July 31, with CD, vinyl and cassette editions following on Sept. 18. Alongside the announcement, the band released the new single, “De Oppresso Liber,” giving fans another preview of the forthcoming project.

The new album also follows the band’s recent 20th anniversary releases, Best Of – Volume 1 and Best Of – Volume 2, and continues a milestone year that also includes an extensive world tour. Produced by the band with Drew Fulk, Legacy features 10 new tracks, including the previously released “Eye of the Storm.” The upcoming tour will showcase both new material and the band’s catalog of chart-topping rock hits.

Guitarist Zoltan Bathory described the project as a reflection on the band’s journey over the past 20 years, saying, “Every album is a snapshot of who we were at that particular moment in time, and Legacy is exactly what the title suggests.” He added, “What makes that journey meaningful is that we didn’t make it alone,” crediting the band’s global fan base for helping shape its career. Those remarks underscore the album’s focus on perseverance, growth and the connection between the band and its audience.
