Rock band Daughtry will celebrate its 20th anniversary with a stripped-down U.S. tour this fall, bringing a more intimate concert experience to theaters and smaller venues across the country.
The month-long “20 Years Unplugged” tour is scheduled to begin October 12 at the Troy Savings Bank Music Hall in Troy, New York. From there, the rock outfit will visit major regions across the country, making scheduled stops in cities such as Atlantic City, New Jersey; Las Vegas, Nevada; and Anaheim, California. The itinerary concludes on November 14 with a final performance at the Majestic Theatre in Dallas, Texas. Buffalo, New York-based singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Ryan Perdz will serve as the opening act for all scheduled dates.
The acoustic trek is designed to spotlight the songs and storytelling that have defined the group’s career. They said in a statement: “The tour will pull the band’s music into a more raw and immediate space, where the weight of a lyric, the scrape of a guitar string, and the quiet before a chorus can hit as hard as the full-band impact.” Fans can expect reimagined versions of hits including “It’s Not Over,” “Home” and “Over You,” performed in settings intended to create a closer connection with audiences.
The anniversary tour arrives as Daughtry continues to support “Shock to the System – Deluxe,” which combines the band’s two-part “Shock to the System” project released across 2024 and 2025 and adds live recordings.
