The Warning has returned with a fierce new single, “EGO,” performed entirely in Spanish. The song arrives with a striking black-and-white music video that captures the trio delivering an intense performance while confronting flashing cameras and paparazzi attention.
“EGO” channels themes of confidence and self-worth, with the Monterrey-born sisters — Daniela Villarreal, Paulina Villarreal, and Alejandra Villarreal — pushing back against criticism and outside pressure, turning the track into a defiant statement about owning your identity and refusing to let others define your success.
“This music video is all about reclaiming your power, embracing confidence, and standing tall in your identity… even when the world is watching,” the band shared in a joint statement. “It’s always so special for us to release music in our first language, Spanish, and we hope you love this song and video as much as we do.”
“EGO” follows the band’s recent releases “Kerosene” and “Love to be Loved,” their collaboration with Carín León. While details about the follow-up to 2024’s Keep Me Fed remain under wraps, the group continues building momentum on tour alongside Yungblud on the Idols World Tour in the United States and the United Kingdom.
